Sequence Privacy Policy Statement

This Privacy Policy applies to the Web sites of Sequence (each a "Site"). This Privacy Policy was last updated on October 28, 2007. At Sequence, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy applies to all of the products, services, and websites offered by Sequence and/or our subsidiaries or affiliated companies.

To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our privacy practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used by us.

Personal Information
We gather only non-personally identifiable information at this time. For visitors to our web pages, our web server automatically recognizes only aggregate non-personal and non-identifiable information such as of IP addresses, operating systems and browser software used by each visitor to the site.

When you visit a Site, we may collect information such as the type of browser you use, your operating system, your IP address, and the domain name of your Internet Service Provider. This information, by itself, does not permit individual identification, meaning that you will remain anonymous. However, if at any time you choose to provide us with personally-identifying information during your visit, that information may be linked to your IP address.

Importantly, we do not share information that we have about you with anyone except in response to subpoenas or for other legal reasons. We do not share information about you with non-affiliates (companies outside our organization) for them to contact you for their own marketing purposes.

The non-personal identifiable information we collect helps us, among other things, to monitor our internal operations, improve our services, identify the most popular areas of our site and determine the effectiveness of our services and promotional activities.

Children
We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13, or knowingly allow such persons to register for any of our services. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for any Sequence services or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, and/or email address. In the event that we learn that we have received any such information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under the age of 13, please contact us at 415-489-4480.

Cookies
When you visit our Site, we may send one or more cookies ? small, removable data files ? to your computer. We use cookies to uniquely identify your browser, which allows us to enhance and personalize your online experience at our Site. For example, cookies allow us to recognize you when you return to a website and present relevant content to you when you visit. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can configure your browser to warn you when cookies are sent, or to refuse all cookies. Some of the features and services of our Site may not operate properly if your cookies are disabled.

Cookies, by themselves, do not provide us with any personally-identifying information. However, if you elect to provide us with personally-identifying information during your visit, that information may be linked to the data stored in the cookie.

Please be aware that this information applies to the use of cookies by Sequence and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technology by any of its advertisers.

Ad Servers
Advertisements that appear on Sequence Site are sometimes delivered (or "served") directly to users by third party advertisers. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. These third party advertisers may also download cookies to your computer, or use other technologies such as JavaScript and "web beacons" (also known as "1x1 gifs") to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. Doing this allows the advertising network to recognize your computer each time they send you an advertisement in order to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. In this way, they may compile information about where individuals using your computer or browser saw their advertisements and determine which advertisements are clicked. Sequence does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third party advertisers. Again, this Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Sequence and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by any of its advertisers.

Additionally, we have relationships directly with third-parties who offer services through advertisements that you may see when you visit our sites. These companies may use certain information about your visit to the sites in order to provide services to you. YOU SHOULD READ THE PRIVACY POLICIES ON EACH ADVERTISER'S WEB SITE YOU ACCESS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR USE OF THE PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU SUPPLY TO THEM.

Information Security and Quality
The law permits us to share information about our current and former customers with government agencies or authorized third parties under certain circumstances. For example, we may be required to share such information in response to subpoenas or to comply with certain laws.

We reserve the right to disclose information contained within our access logs concerning any user as we reasonably feel is necessary to protect our systems or business. Specifically, but without limitation, we reserve the right to disclose such when a visitor partakes (or is reasonably suspected of partaking) in any illegal activity, even without a subpoena, warrant, or other court order, and to disclose such information in response to court and governmental orders, civil subpoenas, discovery requests, and as otherwise required by law.

We cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who may be using our servers or services for illegal activities. We also reserve the right to report any suspected illegal activity to law enforcement for investigation or prosecution, in connection with any suspected illegal activity.

Business Relationships
Our sites may contain links to other web sites that we do not control. Sequence is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites.
